The Shogi master of all time, Mr.Habu, gives us a lot of precious advices in his books and lectures.
Generally, he speaks from his point of view as a Shogi player, making various aspects of the board game as good allegory.
Now, I as reminded again of one of his words, "Take risks carefully. It is rather dangerous to behave too innocuously if you intend to compete for a long time to come."
Here, the "Risks" means not only uncertainity but also labours which might go in vain.
You know, any new tools or methods seems troublesome, out of proportion or pointless until we get used to handle them skillfully.
And if we don't try, we shall never enjoy their values and functions.
It is true for learning English and introducing new ICT tools.
We have to go ahead in order to be left behind the circomstances surrounding us.
