| 2025/November 7 | The national tax agency has stopped to accept the applications for the commencement of the E-tax system with the ID/Password method. It means tax payers who want to use the E-tax system must use the My-number card as the Identification method to access the E-tax syste. Those who has already started using the E-tax syste with the ID/Password method can continue to access the system as before. The tax office staff says the ID/password method are not so secure against the misuse or hacking.
